This edition of Carlson’s book was printed in 1955. It has a dust jacket. What’s interesting about this edition is that the cover painting is different than latter editions. The dust jacket is showing its age. Also, the pages are yellowing.

It’s a rare book. The corners are bent in a bit (see the images). There’s a small amount of pencil marking on the inside cover. The binding is solid. The pages are bright for a book that is nearly 66 years old.
