Original painting by Carl Olson, Jr.
48"x36" acrylic on canvas.
This is the companion piece to my earlier John Nieto inspired Bull Market. The cyclops eye of the bear is intentionally unsettling. Two years after this painting was completed, would come one of the worst bear markets the US economy had seen since the Great Depression of the 1930's. I usually hang the two paintings face to face. As long as the bison bull stares down the cyclops bear, there is balance.
This painting along, with Bull Market, provides a striking contemporary look to any high tech office or loft space.
