Stellar Semi-Modular Moog Mother-32 Is Sonic Gold

Sonic gold drips from Moog's latest instrument: The Moog Mother-32.

It's a single voice semi-modular analog synthesizer. It has a single VCO with dual outputs, the classic buttery Moog Ladder filter (hi-pass and lo-pass), two voltage controlled mixers, LFO, MIDI input, MIDI to CV conversion, white noise source, 32 step sequencer with 64 sequence locations, and a modular patchbay with 32 patch-points. Breaking from the traditional Moog modular rack size, the Mother-32 is Euro-rack sized and compatible.

While developing the Mother-32, Moog invited 3 unique artists to explore the depth of sound synthesis this remarkable $600 analog instrument is capable of. The artists includes: Erika (Interdimensional Transmissions), Max Ravitz (Ghostly International), and Bana Haffar. According to Moog, "Through performance and sound design, each artist displays the extensive vocabulary found within Mother-32. All patches were performed live, with no overdubs."
