I'm afraid to open the door.
The one behind me has closed.
The one in front of me - the light shimmers on the floor.
What lies beyond - is it a room full of my fears?
Or, does it abound with the hopes I hold dear?

This is something I've been wanting to do for some time now: record a time-lapse of me doing an oil painting.

I love to paint. It's been a while, though, since I've picked up the painting knives and brushes. Sometimes it good to step away from electronics and push wet pigment around on a canvas. 

Being Olson's, when my wife and I saw a sign in Cushing, Maine, pointing to The Olson House, we just had to see it.
