DCP 108: The One About Music Videos With Dean Sherwood
In episode 108 of the Digital Convergence Podcast, we talk with Dean Sherwood - a London-based photographer and filmmaker. Dean's passion for photography started when his parents gave him a Kodak camera when he was 11 years old. Fast forward to the release of the Canon 5D Mark II - Dean's world was forever changed when called upon to shoot a video promo piece for a band using his 5DM2. He has since worked with the likes of Rihanna, Madonna, Plan B, N-Dubz, McFly, One Direction, Kasabian, Beverley Knight, You Me At Six, Conor Maynard, and the Vamps - to name just a few. His kit has now expanded to the newer Canon 5D Mark II and the Canon C300. Dean openly shares his insights into the business of music videos. Do you have what it takes to emulate Dean's success? Aspiring music videographers (well, any video pro for that matter) will find Dean's comments motivating.
