DCP 147: Michael Cardillo - Sound Designer and Editor - Part 1

Michael Cardillo - Sound Designer

Michael Cardillo - Sound Designer

This is Part 1 of my interview with sound designer and editor, Michael Cardillo.

Michael Cardillo is an Independent Sound Designer specializing in audio for video. He was on staff with Crawford Communications in Atlanta, Georgia from 1999-2007, where he did sound design and mix-to-picture for broadcast promos, advertising, documentaries, independent films and various other video projects. Since then, he has struck out on his own and specializes in audio editing, mixing and sound design for broadcast, advertising, and corporate/training video projects.

In this episode Michael covers a wide range of topics covering audio for video, including the importance of not always prioritizing picture over sound. There are a lot of good tips in this episode  that will help you improve the audio of your video.

In the Video Business Success Coach segment of the podcast, Kris Simmons discusses three things you can do now to get your video business noticed in your community.
